Perilloux Family Genealogy

Notes

Jean Theophile LASSEIGNE

Dennis Edward Murphy provided following information:

Theofied Lasseigne was born somewhere in France and disappeared along the Natchez Trace after sending his wif and child on ahead of him to live with relatives in Louisiana.
He had hoped to make his fortune in Boston where his wife Catherine Geiger and his son George arrived from France after 1855.

Adam (Perilloux) is listed as a butcher in the 1850 census with four children.  He married Miss Wager 14 Apr 1842 in St. Tammany Parish. His father was Benjamin and he appeared to have a brother named Benjamin who married two years before him in St. Tammany Parish.
